Sørlige Nordsjø II (SN II) was opened for offshore 风力发电 in 2020. The Norwegian government decided that the first phase of SN II will be tendered at the end of the first quarter of 2024, and that licences will be awarded towards the summer or autumn of the same year.
In view of the need for increased power production in 挪威, the government has decided that the first phase of SN II will be connected radially to 挪威. The maximum developed capacity for the first phase of SN II is 1500 MW.
